Overall, this accessory is very necessary when carrying a passenger. I have two gripes regarding the backrest: 1) installation was way too difficult because the provided screws are extremely short. They need to be at least twice as long because they barely reached and I'm surprised that they even screwed in at all. 2) the backrest protrudes way past the banana seat and covers up a lot of the rear cargo basket making it difficult or impossible for some larger items to otherwise fit.

The backrest is great! A little difficult to install as there is not much room to work with and you will need to find a 9mm box wrench (or an adjustable wrench) in order to install this onto your bike. The tool kit included with the bike DOES NOT include a 9mm box wrench, however the supplied bolts for this backrest are 9mm. Overall, a great addition to my M-66 R7!
